Programs

Infants

Our infant program begins at 6 weeks -12 months of age.  University of Little Scholars has designed an infant environment that encourages learning and exploration from infancy.  Our infant teachers are masters at engagement and facilitating lessons that allow infants to learn using all 5 senses.  As their day to day schedule is filled with singing, reading and nurturing.  Our infant staff understands the importance of meeting each child’s unique needs on a daily basis.

We also are considered a no hold environment meaning our infants spend the majority of their day on the floor.  This allows infants to move around freely and investigate the world around them.

Toddlers: 1-2 Year-Olds

University of Little Scholars’ toddler program is packed with purposeful play.  We use a theme each week to peek our scholars interest in day to day center based learning.  Each toddler classroom has a major focus on fostering development in the six learning  domains. Our toddler staff specializes in “ learning while we play”.

Pre-K

University of Little Scholars knows the importance of creating life-long learners .  Our preschool program allows our scholars to take an active role in their learning.  We not only believe in impactful play but we also incorporate real life relations to our lessons. We foster critical thinking and positive self esteem.

University of Little Scholars aids in building a strong foundation in education that allows for a seamless transition into school.  Our preschool curriculum uses Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards as a guide to our learning goals.  Our preschool staff focuses on early literacy, math, and writing.  Our scholars leave our program exceptionally prepared!

After-school

University of Little Scholars provides additional care for students ages 5-12 from 3pm-6pm.  Students are assisted with homework and offered fun and safe activities to help wind down their day.  Transportation is also available within a 15 mile radius.

STEAM Curriculum

Our centers incorporate science, technology, engineering, art and math in our daily curriculum.  STEAM based learning allows our scholars to use their critical thinking skills and encourages a hands-on approach to learning.
